Conference

This year's main conference will be hosted in Louisville, Kentucky on the dates of December 30, 2009-January 3, 2010.  Our theme is unASHAMED based on Romans 1:16, "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ..."  

For those of you interested in promoting GYC in your local churches or schools, please continue to check the website as our promotional material is being posted.  Our promotional video is currently available to download to your computer by clicking HERE.  We will continue to upload our posters and brochures as they are completed.  

Our promotional packets will be ready by the end of the summer, so send your requests in and you can expect them to be sent out the end of August.  

Registration will open the end of the summer.

For those of you who live outside the US and need letters of invitation to attend GYC, please follow the below directions.

International Attendees

As the number of international attendees to the conference grows, GYC has made provisions to accommodate their needs in traveling outside of their countries.

GYC attendees from some countries may need a personal invitation before they can obtain a visa to attend the conference.  If this applies to you, please send an email to visas@gycweb.org that includes the following information in the order given:

1. Your full name, mailing address, phone number, and email address
2. Name of the local church of which you are a member
3. Name of the conference, union, and division which the local church is a part of
4. Name of the organization that you will be representing, if any
5. Dates that you intend to be in the United States specifically to attend this year's GYC convention

Before receiving personal invitations, prospective international attendees must also submit a letter of recommendation from their local pastor indicating that they are in good standing with the church.  The letter must be printed on official Seventh-day Adventist church letterhead and be signed by the pastor.  The letter of recommendation may be submitted by fax at 734.418.2099 or by email as a PDF document to visas@gycweb.org.  If you are unable to scan or fax the letter, please mail it to

All requests should be received by September 12, 2009.  When we have received all of your information, we will promptly send you a letter of invitation to this year's convention, pending approval of your letter of recommendation and other information.
